We work from a central site in Chesterfield looking after people who live in a wide area throughout the town. We work as a team consisting of Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Health Visitors, District Nurses, Midwife, and Administrative Team.

We are privileged to be a Training Practice and therefore sometimes include in our team fully qualified Doctors undergoing special training in General Practice, working with us for up to one year. We are a fully computerised Practice, using computers in consultations and for records.

Our Aims as a Medical Practice
We see ourselves as a modern General Medical Practice that always tries to stay in the forefront of medical developments. This requires us to be constantly changing and responding to Government and other initiatives.

Our main principle is to provide high quality medical care to all our patients. We believe that the psychological and social problems that accompany any illness are very relevant to all medical problems and so we make every effort to treat the whole person and not just the illness. This obviously requires us to work as a team as mentioned above in order to be able to offer a complete package of care.

While we always try and respond to change, we take very seriously the traditional values of British General Practice that are held in high regard throughout the world, and the 2 features that we do not wish to lose from the Practice are:
 

	Continuity of Care We therefore try as often as possible to offer patients their own individual doctor that they can see on a high proportion of their attendances so that both doctor and patient get to know each other.
	Family Care We believe that illness affects the whole family and wherever possible each doctor appreciates those situations when more than one member of the family is registered with them.
